   Ingest

   The Insyto adaptor connects Google Sheets and OneDrive Excel and takes Excel and CSV uploads, normalising every source into one dataset per business. Connected sources re-sync every six hours; uploads are point-in-time snapshots.

   Profile

   Schema detection types every column (money, dates, quantities, categories) and profiles its distribution, nulls, ranges and outliers. Formats are reconciled, so "$1,234", "1234" and "(1,234.00)" resolve to the same value.

   Join

   Sources are related on their shared keys (product, customer, site, supplier), so sales, stock and costs read as one model instead of three reports. The findings that matter most live between files.

   Detect and rank

   Every metric is benchmarked against its own history. A statistical significance gate filters noise; what survives is priced and ranked, and the largest movement becomes the lead story.

   Write and verify

   Findings are composed deterministically from the computed numbers, then a grounding check rejects any sentence whose figures do not match the data. Every material figure resolves to its source rows; an unproven cause is labelled as open.
